The Spirit and Israel’s Judgement

Pentecost marks the pivotal moment when Christ empowered his Church, not by creating a new institution, but by equipping his existing people to proclaim the gospel and conquer the world for his kingdom. The true Israel is Jesus Christ himself, and all who are united to him by faith and baptism share in the promises and blessings once mediated through the old covenant, which concluded in 70 AD with the destruction of the Temple. Christians have no obligation to the modern state of Israel other than to call them to repentance, recognizing that all who reject the Messiah reside under the same judgment as any other unbeliever. The Church is a royal priesthood and the rightful heir to the earth, charged by the Holy Spirit to expand Christ’s dominion across all nations and every sphere of human existence until the whole world is brought to his feet.
