The culture around us is in a state of rapid decay because it has fundamentally rejected God’s created order and His design for male and female roles. When men abandon their God-given call to lead, protect, and provide, and women reject their role as the helper suitable to their husbands, the inevitable result is domestic dysfunction, social turmoil, and spiritual ruin. You must understand that this rebellion is not merely a disagreement over cultural fashion or minor church traditions; it is a direct assault on the authority of God Himself. We are witnessing the tragic consequences of a society—and sadly, a modern church—that prioritizes worldly feelings and egalitarian ideals over the clear, timeless instructions found in the Word of God.
However, there is hope and peace to be found in returning to the biblical hierarchy of authority. As Christians, we are called to be transformed by the renewal of our minds, looking to the example of Jesus Christ, who—though equal with the Father—humbled Himself in perfect obedience to fulfill the work of redemption. When husbands and wives embrace their respective roles, they are not only fostering prosperity in their homes but are also actively displaying the Gospel. Embracing God’s design brings peace, and when we willfully submit to His chain of command, we are participating in the reversal of the curse, setting our homes apart as a light in a dark and crumbling world.
