Church, if you are in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit has already empowered and equipped you to serve His kingdom. We cannot afford to walk through life uninformed, nor can we allow ourselves to be seduced by the demonic counterfeits and occult darkness multiplying all around us. The world is full of false signs, emotional manipulation, and mystical distractions, but Scripture gives us an infallible standard: if a spiritual manifestation does not confess that Jesus came in the flesh, if it contradicts previously revealed Scripture, and if it fails to exalt Jesus Christ as Lord, it is not of God. The Holy Spirit does not work to produce chaotic spectacle or elevate human pride; He distributes His gifts sovereignly, according to His own will, to build up the body of Christ and advance the crown rights of King Jesus across every sphere of human existence. Do not make the fatal mistake of measuring your spiritual worth by whether you have experienced some flashy, dramatic display. Our God is a God of order and distinctions, not uniform egalitarianism; He deliberately equips each of us differently for the common good. Gifting is not limited to church walls or religious ceremonies. The same Spirit who empowered Bezalel with artistic craftsmanship for the tabernacle, and who gave Samson physical strength to slaughter the enemies of God’s covenant people, empowers you to take dominion in your home, your labor, your community, and the public square. There is an absolute difference between having the Spirit dwelling within you as your seal of salvation and being filled with the Spirit for battle. Stop sitting back waiting for a glamorous feeling. Step into the fight, proclaim the uncompromised Gospel, defend the unborn, confront the darkness, and you will see the Sovereign Lord work through you with real power.
